UNINTERRUPTED PROTECTION FOR YOUR INVESTMENT
Each year, more and more sophisticated technology is built into vehicles to improve their safety, performance, comfort and value. These same innovations increase the vehicle's reliability. However, if something does go wrong, the necessary repairs are often complex and costly. To protect your investment from these financial burdens, we offer a selection of extended service packages that give you uninterrupted coverage on parts and labour, for many years or thousands of kilometers following the expiration of factory warranty.
AVAILABLE OPTIONS
ENGINE
Engine Block and Cylinder Head(s) (when damaged from within, excluding damage as a result of overheating regardless of cause) and all internally lubricated parts including: crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and bearings, camshafts and bearings, timing chains and gears, timing chain guides, pistons, rings and wrist pins, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs and retainers, rocker arms, shafts and pivots, push rods, hydraulic lifters, valve covers, oil pan, oil pump, dipstick and tube.
TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE
(RWD/FWD) All internally lubricated parts (when damaged from within) including: housing, torque converter, valve body, gear sets, main and intermediate shafts, vacuum modulator, oil pump. Excluded: External linkages and shifter.
DIFFERENTIAL/TRANSFER CASE
(RWD/AWD/4WD) Housing/Case (when damaged from within) and all internal parts including differential cover.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
We will reimburse you up to $50 (fifty) per occurrence to an aggregate maximum of $250 (two hundred and fifty) Canadian dollars (including taxes) for the following events: Winching Coverages, Battery Boosting, Emergency Fuel Delivery (max .10 litres), Flat Tires Coverage and Vehicle Entry Assistance. Valid receipts must be submitted for reimbursement.
TOWING
We will reimburse you up to $50 (fifty) Canadian dollars per occurrence to an aggregate total of $200 (two hundred) Canadian dollars including all taxes for towing expenses incurred due to a mechanical breakdown covered under this contract. Valid receipts must be submitted for reimbursement.
SEALS AND GASKETS
All those used to contain fluids and lubricants within the covered parts. (Option on Essential Plan, included in Comprehensive Plan)
TURBOCHARGER
Manufacturer installed (OEM) only: Housing (when damaged from within) and all internal parts including intercooler, waste gate controller and hard lines. (Option on Essential Plan, included in Comprehensive Plan)
SUPERCHARGER
Manufacturer installed (OEM) only: Housing (when damaged from within) and all internal parts including bypass valve and pulley. (Option on Essential Plan, included in Comprehensive Plan)
VEHICLE LOAN PROTECTOR (GAP)
Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) pays the difference between what you owe on your vehicle loan and the amount of money – actual cash value (ACV) – your insurance company gives you for your vehicle following a total loss accident or vehicle theft. A new vehicle typically loses 30% of its vehicle value within the first year, so chances are your vehicle's value will decline faster than your loan.

PROTECT YOUR FINANCIAL STANDING
If you experience a Total Loss of your vehicle, you could be left owing thousands of dollars on your vehicle loan, called negative equity, which is quite common. To receive this payout, the insurance company must deem your vehicle a total loss, meaning the cost to repair the vehicle exceeds its value or the police never recovered it after a theft.
